SUMMARY: Chinami is a spirit with a rather tragic backstory. She dies from childbirth in the 1200s, and since death she's had the intense will to be reunited with her daughter. Even if centuries have past and her daughter is no longer that little baby, not little, and no longer a baby. Her death should serve as justice, a spirit that can no longer harm innocents, but it doesn't feel that way. Almost unjust. Like Chinami's story.

Chinami

Age at first death: 41 Age at second death: 323

Gender: Female Sexuality: Straight

Appearence: All spirits have elongated limbs, especially around their hands and feet. Chinami isn't unfortunate to have other elongated limbs, which could hinder movement. Her kimono is yellow, though now faded and dirty with the grounds filth. Her apron is a navy blue. And her obi sash originally a fusia, though now a similarly dusted purple. Her hair was trending for her class while she was alive, a round, low ponytail, common amongst muromachi peasants. She has long lost her sandals, and walking has worn her tabi socks down to nothing. The threadbare tabi are molded to her ankles from crusted mud, like fossilisation. Her bare feet are in a similar condition, especially on the soles.

Personality: In life Chinami had been a loving mother. She saw the world as trustworthy. Though in death the mind warps for those which had never woken. It clings to its strongest memories, and for Chinami, it was her daughter. And since her daughter wasn't besides her, she unknowingly devoted her afterlife to finding her daughter, its her main thought and goal.

Backstory: Chinami was born into the peasantry sometime in the 1200s. And long into her adult life she brought her daughter into the world. Though soon after, mere months after, childbirth would take Chinami away. There was a funeral, though.... incorrect. It hadn't followed the proper proceedures. And Chinami never woke inside the afterlife. Hence her state.
