Raptor

Raptor is a silly cat with a slightly cocky attitude. When he was  younger, he lived on the run - rather, on the wing - after escaping the  violent clowder he was born into. He was lucky they hadn't fought to  keep him for his projectile quills, a versatile weapon. His partial  deafness from the feathers in his ears had been enough for the group to  give up on him. He learned to fend for himself pretty well, though he  always missed having some sort of community.

He happened upon a  pair of cats one day, Stria and Draft, who had been running from  something as well. They refused to tell what, though Raptor understood -  he wouldn't want to air out his grievances to a stranger either. After  hanging around the same areas for days, the three agreed to stick  together and watch each others' backs. Raptor was just glad to find  community again. As time went on, the trio grew closer, and Raptor  eventually became queerplatonic partners with Draft. 

Raptor tends  to stick to the trees when trouble arises, keeping out of reach and  firing off quills towards an attacker. He feels horrible if his friends  get hurt while he's playing it safe, though, and has been more risky  about jumping into the fray since coming to live with Stria and Draft. He's just thankful their lives are mostly peaceful.

After they'd gotten used to their new routines as a trio and found a  nice clifftop clearing to settle into, Draft disappeared for around a  week. He gave warning, of course - no need to scare Stria like that  again - but gave no details as to where he'd be or why. Stria was  hesitant to accept this, but eventually gave in with Raptor's  reassurance. Draft returned as quickly as he could, hesitantly padding  into the clearing with a fluffy white kitten - his daughter. Don't worry  about the logistics of this we can all just pretend he mitosed or  something. Raptor is less of a father to little Summit, and more of a fun uncle. He takes her out for fun little adventures and shows her all the best spots to catch the afternoon sun.

Raptor has feathered wings and a feathered mane along his back and tail, with quills towards the back of his mane, tail, and on his his wings.
