An icy-cold stream high in the mountains, as well as the rocky banks beside it. There are lots of smooth river stones and fish.

Quiet and odd, Simi shares Ragaa's aversion to socializing with other Esk. She hardly ever leaves her boundary, with the strong loyalty she holds to her home. Because of this she hardly even visits the Conservatory, although a very enthusiastic friend often tries to persuade her. Simi is slow-moving and calm, and prefers silence and peace--she sometimes appears quite sleepy and will spend long periods of time simply laying still, but she is only enjoying the stillness of the world. Her telepathic communication is quite the opposite of Cairo's, using no formed words but instead hums and quiet emotion.

After life as a simple fish, Simi was tossed out of her home river by the rapid waters brought on by a great storm. Stranded on the rocks, she was aware of only confusion, pain, and fear until Ragaa arrived. Now awakened to the vastness of her home, Simi watches over the stream and the mountain that once watched over her.
