Cortez is cold and standoffish, seemingly always wearing a sour/stern expression on his face.
However, at home, to many of the townsfolk, they see the grumpy man as generous and warmhearted. As he always offers his food and other supplies to the villagers in need.
Cortez is a mercenary for hire. Who is primarily in service to Declora Kingdom. He helps carry out raids and prisoner escorts. So long as his village remains under the kingdom's protection, and is spared from Queen Vaelora's conquering.
He had spent years believing every horrific act was just simply another part of this contract. Until one frightened child finally made him question the kind of man he had become.
