Xenata StrawberryMoon

Xenata was born to a Lunar Dragoness who cheated on her mate with a Deep Space dragon hybrid. Her mother had hoped Xenata would be born looking more like a Lunar Dragon, that way she could hide what she did from her husband, however, when the egg hatched her daughter showed the long snout, extended skull, and dual nostrils that were renowned Deep Space dragon traits. Xena's "father" immediately realized what his "daughter's" traits meant and confronted his wife in a rage. After a great deal of arguing and fighting the two decided to split up right there and then, but there was still the concern of their "daughter". Since both of Xena's parental figures were Lunar Dragons they couldn't bring themselves to get rid of the child in her current state; she was far to young to survive on her own in the wilderness. Therefore, the two agreed to stay together long enough to raise Xenata to where she was old enough to survive on her own; then they would drop her off in the wild and part ways. Eventually, that time came and her parents did just as they proposed in the beginning; dumping Xenata in the middle of a clearing with only a few basic items to better help her survival. For years after that Xena survived on her own in the forest by gathering plants, hunting small prey animals, and collecting berries; all of which her "parents" taught her. She did receive help from a local hermit fural named Alice, who left out food for her every night; after her abandonment Xenata had become quite skittish around others and only ate the food if Alice remained out of sight. Additionally, Xenata would stalk around the outskirts of the nearby village looking for food left behind by the residents. 

One day, while Xenata  was walking through the village searching for food the building right next to her exploded into flames. Next thing she knew she was being knocked around by panicked townsfolk who were running for their lives as other buildings caught fire or were destroyed. Xenata soon joined them, fleeing from the spreading flames and shadowy beasts that stalked within them. While Xenata was running down an alleyway she was chased by one of the shadow beasts and ended up hiding from it by crawling into a basement storage area, but she was soon trapped when the upper walls fell over the entrance. Xenata was found by Sunshine who had accompanied Lumera, Eclipse, Wildfire, Michael Knight and K.I.T.T on a Foundation mission. At first she was terrified of them, but eventually warmed up to the group and followed them back to The Foundation grounds. Since her parents never named her Xen was named by Lumera after it was shown she had a strong love of strawberries.
