Raised with no formal education and little experience outside how a farm works, JIng Yi isn't the smartest kid around. He tries to keep up, he really does, but it's a long process because he's just not the kind to learn by reading anyway. Still, he's always positive and looking for the bright side of every situation, if only because he truly doesn't believe something can go bad and stay bad forever. He puts his all in everything, truly wanting nothing more than to reach what his lord expects him to be able to reach.

Quick to react and quick to adapt to most situations, whether or not the decisions he makes on the spot are the right ones is always up for debate. He's naive towards how the world of the rich works, still trying to find his footing in this place, and he's hopelessly gullible to those he trusts, to the point where he would take their word seriously no matter how ridiculous and not question it.

History:

Tl;dr

• ▞ Got separated from his tribe when he was a child (age 4).
• ▞ Found by a human farmer out hunting (due to poor crops).
• ▞ He was taken in and cared for by the family, raised with four other girls. ▞ Left when he was 15 to join the military.
• ▞ Got to the capital in one piece but got lost trying to figure out how to join the military. The trip took a year though, mostly because he kept getting sidetracked.
• ▞ Asked a man for help and found out the man was the general of the army (it wasn't. It was JInhai. Jinhai is a shit.)
• ▞ Jinhai later hired him to be his second retainer. Jing Yi is kind of really confused.

Trivia:

• ✮ His sisters back home convinced him when he was a kid that women are the single most terrifying species on the planet. So basically now all women scare him because he thinks they all can read minds and are secretly creatures that will one day kill all men and take over the universe.

His master. Jing Yi loves him the same way a pet loves their master. Jinhai hired him even though Jing Yi had been too young to even join the military. He wants to do his best and make JInhai proud.

Lei

His colleague. He thinks Lei is really cool and he really wants to be friends but Lei also scares him so he doesn't really know how.
