SEASONS:
Polaris has a different time cycle then us humans on earth do as she floats past many suns and other star eaters that give off heat as well. A normal year for her is 812 days, with the days being around 6 hours each. She's a very slow goer but some seasons make her personality change slightly.
Winter: She is in the winter season for 609 days. This can include snow storms but can also just be a sunny days. She can also have a full coat in this season, depends on the day and how much snow.
Spring: She is in the spring season for 100 days. This can include snow storms as well but is mostly rain/sunny days.
Summer: She is in the summer season for 3 days. This is when she loses her "coat of snow" and the only time you my see her neck (the higher altitudes) without snow on it! its only on day 3 though. In the summer seasons she likes to hide away from other star eaters as she doesnt like not having her "coat of snow".
Fall: She is in the fall season for 100 days. This can include snow storms as well but is mostly rain/sunny days. She can also have a full coat in this season, depends on the day and how much snow.
Extras:
She likes to make it snow when she's wondering alone throughout space but when shes with someone else it's a sunny day.
When she's sad it'll rain for days.
If she gets extremely mad (witch is very hard) she may start to melt off her coat.
