History

In a pokemon world, Atlas had been born in a small peaceful town. Today, his town had become more livelier since today is the day for young residents to start their new adventure with their new pokemon companion to become a pokemon trainer! Almost all of new trainers went to the professor's house to get their pokemon except for one young boy called Atlas. Atlas was not interested in becoming a pokemon trainer, he was more interested in researching Pokemon origins and wondered if there were other pokemon waiting to be discovered; he was especially curious of potential pokemon from at outer space. Due to this curiosity of his, he decided stay in his town and studied the fields he interested in.

Years passed by and he finally become a Pokemon researcher as he wanted to be. In addition to researching, he took up  free lance archaeology on the side.  Atlas loved his job very much; he was able to research and understand pokemon nature more in his lab. When he was off duty, he would go out and travel with his few pokemon companion to research in the field of archeology.

One night, when he camped out beside the sea staring at the night skies, Atlas noticed that the night skies had created a weird portal. To his surprise a pokemon appeared from it. It looks like a jellyfish pokemon; he was fascinated by it since he never seen this type of pokemon before. Though it may look harmless, he did take safety measure to not come too close to it since he hadn't figured out if it was dangerous. Atlas was so engrossed with it that he didn't realize that another of its kind had approached him slowly from behind

 When he realized it, it was already too late. The pokemon had grabbed him taking him off the ground. Then it latched unto his head causing Atlas to lose his conscious. He used his last bit of energy to toss his pokeball away from being dragged into the portal.

Nihilego slowly drained his life energy away

When Atlas life was about to reach the end, a portal was opened again bringing him into a new world. Atlas felt his body had been released by it, where he fell on a field of grass. His mind was not in the right state since the toxins has entered inside his body system

Even though he was dying, he still held no grudges towards the pokemon since he believed that was just in their nature. They couldn't help it nor did they mean any mal intent. Though he did have regrets of not being able too say farewell to his family and trusty pokemon companions. He had just found a glimpse of information about the outer space pokemon! Sadly, he wouldn't be able to continue his research anymore. How he wish that he could be alive again and continue his dream and meet his family again. 

As he took his last breath, a sakura petal instantly glowed as it landed on his left arm. Atlas' appearance started to change and he felt a new life energy spread inside of him. Slowly his vision started to clear up, and he found himself lying on an almost endless field of flowers. The scenery was breathtaking especially the giant sakura tree above him. He was not sure why but he felt a connection with this specific tree. Wanting to have a closer look, Atlas pushed himself up. However, instead of standing, he ended up floating in the air, which shocked him. Atlas instantly grabbed the closest branch trying his best not to float too far up, but the problems didn't end there. He was faced with a new discovery: his hand had somehow transformed into tentacles??? Seeing the sudden changes in himself, it raised numerous questions in his mind. However, that was a matter for another time. Now, he needed to find a way to bring himself back to his home land. 

He tried to calm himself down and began to learn how to control his ability. So, he could bring himself back on the ground. Surprisingly it was not that hard as he thought. He floated himself to nearby river and saw his Nihilego self in the reflection of the water. Instead of being in a state of panic, Atlas became excited seeing the form that he wanted to research on! With him being the pokemon itself, he could understand the pokemon more fully without endangering himself. As long he was alive, he would figure it out somehow. 

As time pass by, Atlas managed to transform himself either into his human form or Nihilego form. Being able to use his ability freely, he found that one of his favorite abilities was flight, since he didn't need to worry in getting his white outfit dirty. He was able to learn and understand the culture and life on this planet. Specifically, the species called Sakuramimis He finally understood why he was revived in this world and was thankful for it. Besides researching on his own, he also befriended and gathered info from the other Sakuramimis especially a girl named Sakuya. Atlas found  her very lively, interesting and intelligent. He loved how she wrote a story based on his story, which he told her during his travels and research about his previous and current world with added exaggeration and creative flair. He find himself smiling and laughing whenever he read her stories. Also, he enjoyed chatting or hanging out with her. Atlas will always make sure to bring some souvenirs since Sakuya loves it a lot and it's also a good excuse for him to hang out and meet her. 

During his stay, Atlas had always wanted to find his way back home, but at the same time he didn't want to go back home. He found that he didn't want to leave Sakuya behind. At first, he thought that they were just close friends, but then he realized their relationship is more to that. After much reflection, Atlas confessed to her and ask her to be his girlfriend, which she happily accepted. To his surprise, Sakuya have loved him for a long time, but he had been dense not realizing her feelings. He was embarrassed for being slow, but he was happy that Sakuya accept his feelings. 

Atlas found a new goal in his life: to find a portal to go back and forth to his world and the current world he is living.
