Fyrdecov managed the impossible and recieved the impossible in return: he killed a mist demon and recieved its curse, becoming the very monster that had dragged him on a twisted strings of lies for its own amusement. Mist demons generally prey on the weak, both of mind and body, leading them on twisted travels until the poor creature is too weak to carry on. Normally, this would end in death for the unlucky victim, but Fyrdecov was one of the few who fought back. And won.

In an entirely unfair turn of events, the curse imparted upon him did nothing to fix his personal weakness: his leg. Still as useless, pained, and twisted in the before as it is now in the after, Fyrdecov is forced to walk on the same staff he used to kill the mist demon.

Understandably, he's a little annoyed about the whole deal.

While being a mist demon isn't exactly a ride in the park (he has to feed on the same things his demonic aggressor did, including but not limited to fear, hatred, and a whole bevy of different yet delicious negative emotions) it does have it's upsides. Free to change his form as he pleases, Fyrdecov can at least pretend he's not one of the most maligned creatures on all of Eon.

As a mist demon he fills the role of boogeyman, devil, and trickster all in one go, and as a eonian, he fills the role of deckhand, friend, and kind speaker of truth. The conflicts within himself are many and he tries to keep his two sides apart, but it's a daunting task at the best of times and a nightmare at worst.
