Goopy is a demon who can shapeshift with many neat potential forms. They can fluctuate between smoke, a sticky melty goo, and a pretty solid form. Originally starting out as a smokey ghosty presence but is able to become more solid with the help of some life essence from who he possesses. Now his preference seems to be somewhere between a melty solid form. And don’t worry, the drippy trail it leaves behind when you try to pet it will dissolve on its own…. "Sheds" more goo when nervous.

The Runaway Boys Lucky and Nate find an old spooky book of spells at the library where their boyfriend Levi works while waiting around for him to finish for the day. Levi's sure the spells won't actually work, so he allows them to check out the book for their own amusement to goof around with. Oops, turns out it's real and they accidentally summoned a lil demon! They don't initially think it works, but a new friend follows them back to their hotel room and decides to stick around. (cause he's stickyy) (heh) Goopy immediately attaches to Lucky and possesses him without the others realizing it. His preference is to possess Lucky. Nate is willing, too, but both of them find the experience A Little Overwhelming because of Nate's very hyper energy level.
