Rin

Rin, a young maiden girl, lives off the land in a small cottage in the woods. It is a solitary life, yet Rin never found herself to be lonely.
Many men and woman in a nearby village claim she's a witch, but Rin denies such claims. She happens to know a bit about herbalism, perhaps collects a few crystals and puts them to purify under full moons, admits she has delayed in seeking a husband. Simply because, she has yet to find a man who would tolerate her rather feisty personality. And her steadily creeping vitiligo doesn't help with the accusations of witchcraft, either, but Rin is too off the beaten trail to care. 

One day, she stumbles across a stranger, whom she takes back to her single room cottage. There, she finds herself rather taken by the man, and soon after, rather fond of him.

Until, a curse is placed on young Rin, and she finds herself slowly turning into a monstrous dragon. Men folk try to slay her, while Rin races to find a cure to retain her former self. Many attempts fail, after many more dead ends. Rin belittles her new body, hating every inch of it, but never ceases to retire from her goal of being completely human again.

But when she is human again, is that truly what she wants?
