Sam is a bundle of joy, a fun loving big blue dragon dog thing with many licks to give and many foods to eat.

As a sanctum he was born in a test tube inside Halcyon Labs. Originally bred for war, the sanctum species have since been repurposed as companions, and Sam is the happiest of them all. A sort of mascot, if you will.

He spends the majority of his time around Halcyon Labs and the adjoining Peacekeeper Station. He's best friends with Alphonse and Ashley, but good friends with everyone else, as well, and he's always happy to meet new people.

Despite his fearsome appearance, he's quite intelligent and can hold complex conversations. He has intelligence equal to that of an adult human. Like other sanctum, he has an electronic voicebox implanted into his neck to allow him to speak.
