A huge turf wars enthusiast, Chelsea is the captain and founder of her own team, Team Marink. In battle, Chelsea is a very aggressive sniper. Rather than perching in a single spot, she prefers to move about with her teammates and doesn't mind leaping right into the enemy's turf if it means the chance to splat them. She boasts a strong prideful streak and is quick and easy to provoke. Fortunately though, as easy as it is to reveal her petty boisterous side, she actually does let go of things just as quickly. Outside of turf, she knows how to take a big step back and is a chill inkling who enjoys relaxing. Her ultimate goal is to become an S+ rank pro turfer and to make it in the big adult leagues. Her secondary goal, as ever the image conscious squid kid, is to keep an image of being fresh and cool at all times.

Team Marink is a highly offensive team; they jump right into battle and defend their territory with their best defense- offense. While their splat count is high, their apparent recklessness in battle means their splatted numbers are high as well. The team's origins are somewhat secretive; Chelsea claims it was out of her sole selfish ambition of being a top player one day. While this is not entirely untrue, it is also true that the team was formed out of a secret promise between team leader Chelsea and team member Olive. Team Marink was active for about 5 years before it was disbanded due to a difference in future goals.

As team leader, Chelsea does her best to carry out her duties. She hates to admit it and vigoriously denies it if brought up, but she is fond of her teammates, and is the sort of inkling to show up in the middle of the night outside her friends's homes if needed. Her role on the field primarily is to create openings and cover her teammates.
