- Despite identifying as male, he is fond of wearing both men's and women's clothing; finding the latter to be more comfortable.
- Became trans due to sexism. Was told throughout his childhood that 'girls' couldn't be strong and that they were weaker than men. Developed severe gender dysphoria after that. He tries dearly to present himself as manly to the general public. Even when wearing outfits made for girls.
His secret comfort objects are his plush toys he's kept from his childhood. He hides them under his bed so no one will find them. He'll cling onto them tightly during moments of distress and cry softly.

Philippa is as stubborn as they come, determined to show off his strength at any given moment. He's meant to be a bossy, demanding fellow who desires to be seen as tough and strong like his older brother but ends up making himself out to be a fool in return due to his (shameful) cowardness when presented scenarios where he actually has to be brave. He desperately wants to be taken seriously and hates being treated as fragile or helpless, often overcompensating by acting far more confident than he actually feels. Because of this, he's quick to volunteer for tasks involving strength especially when other people are watching. He has a strong sense of pride and can be a rather competitive dunce much to his classmate's dismay. Whether it's a game, a race, or proving a point, Philippa dislikes losing and has proven time and time again that he will make excuses rather than admit defeat.
Despite his self-proclaimed "toughness", Philippa is deeply caring and attentive toward the people he loves. He notices when someone is upset and will often try to help, though his attempts can be clumsy or misguided. He fears showing such a soft side will mistake the other person for seeing him as weak, so he struggles to express affection openly, preferring acts of service or small gestures over heartfelt words.

He harbors a complicated mix of emotions toward the strange and unsettling girl. He's easily swayed by her kiss-ass compliments and affectionate words, tending to take her praise at face value. Her constant remarks about his strength and bravery feed his ego, encouraging him to step into a protective role and do his best to live up to the image she has of him. However, that confident facade doesn't always hold. When faced with genuinely frightening situations, his bravado often begins to crack, revealing the far more cowardly person underneath. Like when Sprinkle begins to show more of her.... disturbing side upon developing an obsession with him. It's at that moment he tries to push her away subtly without enraging the girl. Not knowing how to perceive or handle her extreme love for him. He has his own slight crush on her but ever since she started being creepy around him, he's more nervous about expressing it.

When Maverick was no longer in a position to properly care for Philippa, he made the difficult decision to entrust Vanilla with legal guardianship. Knowing that Vanilla could provide a stable home, access to a nearby school, and the support Philippa needed to thrive, Maverick felt it was the best choice for his younger brother's well-being. Vanilla, having a younger brother of his own, was (oddly) happy about taking Philippa in. He is currently under Vanilla's care until further notice.
Vanilla is surprisingly a good parental figure for Philippa. Often making sure Philippa is well-fed, attends school regularly, completes his homework, and keeps up with his personal hygiene. The two have a good relationship with one another. Philippa helps out at Vanilla's beauty salon after school and on the weekends for his monthly allowance. He also begs Vanilla to allow him to adopt a hamster but is always denied because Vanilla's claim that all rodents are disgusting.
The two attend the same school and interact on schoolgrounds. Pogo Stick is oddly protective of his online presence and refuses to give Philippa his social media. Which is fine by Philippa considering he's not the most social online anyways. He tries to befriend Pogo but his garish personality really ruins things for Philippa.
