-he's a scientist, he studies genetics and genetic modification -he himself was created through genetic modification. no edgy backstory though, he adores the scientists that created him, one of which is his adopted mom, and everyone at the lab adored him and he would always have an adorable science birthday party there when he was a kid. He lived a mostly normal childhood, and once a week would go into the lab for some testing to be done (which he was always rewarded heavily with icecream and adoration) -as he became 13 or so, he started spending like all his free time at the lab cause he loved being a lab assistant. when he turned 17 he was officially hired and put on the pay role. the lab paid for him to go through college so he could get his degree in biology. -is an advocate for ethical responsible genetic modification, because he knows not everyone was as lucky to get such a supportive lab as he did -when genetically modified babies are growing up, he is often called in to help them feel more comfortable and accepted, cause they know that they have a fellow hybrid hangin out w them and there to answer any questions
