Depending on what universe he's in, his story often changes to suit the universe of that certain Roleplay Group. But overall, his story is this one:
His dad was a cheater and a violent alcoholic. On his birthday, his dad killed her wife, stabbing her to death, and proceeded to kidnap Daniel to sell him. He planned on selling Amelia as well, but in an act of saving his smaller brother he tried to fight his dad, getting hurt in the process. Since no one likes injured kemonomimis, she wouldn't be sold, so she was left there while her father framed her of the murder of their mom.
For OOC purposes, Amelia and Daniel are best friends and they're always together.
