Phanta was an experiment. She was originally made to be a living weapon and grew up basically a prisoner for most of her childhood. However, in her teen years, she met Gaston. The two bonded over their similar situations and developed a close friendship. (Gaston even had a small crush on her for a time.) The two talked about their plans on what they would do if they could move away. As they talked, an idea bloomed. The two would start to think up an escape plan. Eventually, Gaston did succeed in helping her leave the facility where she was being held in. Not long after their escape, the two ended up going on separate paths. (I can't go into much detail because of spoilers oop-) Phanta became a soldier and gained enough recognition to be given an executioner rank. Her job was to hunt down specifically deserters or spies who had valuable information that they could give to enemy kingdoms. During one hunt, she met a man named Robin whom she fell in love with. She had a short marriage until Robin was eventually killed by her target. Since then, she closed herself off to love in fear of getting hurt again. She keeps a very cold and professional demeanor. She only ever lets her guard down around people she absolutely trusts.
