Do-si-dillo

Do-Si-Dillo has been in the digital circus for quite a while before Pomni arrived. Her digital avatar is an armadillo who’s a rodeo clown; She loves pulling silly antics to make her friends laugh. Her nose makes a honking noise like a clown’s when you squeak it. 

Her biggest insecurity is herself — and her confidence. An armadillo represents how she “goes into a shell” so to speak to hide and shut off her brain for a while. Do-Si-Dillo loves her friends dearly, but often wonders if she really deserves them at all, and fears the thought of being left out or abandoned by them. 

Do-Si-Dillo has a pretty good relationship with everyone in the circus except Jax. He preys on her weaknesses for his own entertainment but she’s too scared to stand up for herself and just lets Jax push her around. Ragatha, however, is someone she trusts deeply. Do-Si-Dillo often confides all her troubles to her and just enjoys having someone to be a listening ear.

Over time, she started developing feelings for Caine. She was in denial a lot about it because she knew he was simply an AI who was just doing what he was programmed to do. But even then, she couldn’t shake the feeling. Caine didn’t understand a lot of human concepts (especially “love”) but was just flattered that Do-si liked him and his adventures… Most of them, anyway. She nearly abstracted after Caine’s deletion, but her friends were the one thing that grounded her.
