Aluki

Physical traits: 

Aluki resembles a sphynx cat but is much larger and taller, sporting towering long ears and tail. Her slender body is usually seen as dark blue, purple, greyish-blue or black. Can have whiskers or not. She is almost always wearing golden rings around her neck and may have a drape adorned with jewels attached to the last ring on her neck. Alternatively, she can wear red cloths under the rings that extend out and make it look like blood spouting out of her neck(there's a reason for that).  Bracelets and earrings are optional. Has sharp well-kept claws and yellow teeth. She's partially immortal and can survive most fatal wounds(decapitation). Her power includes regeneration, sand-bending, ability to speak with the dead, reanimate dead animals(almost like zombies) greater strength, stamina and vitality. She's also has a special ability to create a barrier shaped like an eye that prevents anything from stepping out of it(if the eye is open that is). Aluki is way larger than your regular Sphynx cat, or regular cat for that matter. I'd say she's roughly the size of a tall Doberman (80cm at the shoulders). 

Personality:

Queen of the Lifeless, Aluki has a very strong personality and superiority complex as she is as demon sphynx with access to a plethora of powers, that which she uses for her own selfish gains. Because of that, she believes she rules over all other cats and should be adored like a goddess. Short-tempered and has no problem resorting to violence to resolve problems. She's actually very intelligent, but her impatience and resort to violence can make it seem she's not. She speaks her mind and is very sassy with her comments. However, she treats her servants and followers with respect and love. She may act like an evil queen but she's not completely heartless. Just try not to get on her bad side. 

Name Origin:

I wanted a name that resembled Egyptian gods and deities. Anything close to Cleopatra was too obvious or too long for me. Her name can be spelt Alüki having ü with an umlaut. In Portuguese(before the dumb language reform that is), that accent changes the sound of the vowel but I really don't know how to explain. like in Portuguese gu would be pronounced goo but gü is pronounced gwoo. So to avoid confusion her name can be pronounced both ways. Ah-loo-key or Ah-lhu-key idk how to phonetically spell lhu in English oops (lwoo? like saying lee woo very fast). Ask me about Portuguese accents anytime I'm a great teacher. 

Artist's notes:

[The reason I don't type her name with the umlaut usually is because Idk how to do that with my keyboard, the struggle is real lol. (Later on, I realized her name is similar to the jackal deity Anubis and that was completely accidental haha but it worked out for her story in the end.)] Aluki is one of my favourite OCs. I love Sphynx cats and I wanted to create an Egyptian cat queen so that's how she was born. I dream to one day make a 3D model of her.

Trivia:

Aluki has a collection of dead animals she uses for embalming.

She hates being without her neck rings because they cover up a terrible scar. The red pieces of cloth that sometimes extent out of her rings are to symbolize the blood she lost when she was wounded in her neck.

Her favorite dish is shish taouk.

She's crepuscular.

Her favorite Disney villain is Maleficent. She wishes she could turn into a dragon like maleficent.

She hates Anubis and wishes to be the god of the dead instead.

Story:

It is unknown how Aluki came to be but she's been tormenting cats enough to be the topic of legends and folklore. She is feared by many, but many also adore her. Her goal is to surpass the god of the dead Anubis and to claim that place has hers. To do so, Aluki has to prove she can master her powers and use them more efficiently than Anubis. She also has to have more cult followers(they love social media). The demon lords are constantly watching. (more coming soon)
