hello! i've been super sick these past few days so i decided to do something fun while i'm bound to my apartment. now, before you use this code, a couple quick notes:
• i'm fairly offline these days, so i'm not fully aware if someone has done something similar before. if they have, my apologies! otherwise, this is my little love letter to old deviantART and the way it used to be.
• my coding knowledge is pretty rudimentary and mostly comes from spending way too many hours customizing my dA profile when i was younger. because of that, the code isn't the most polished thing in the world, and there may be some stuff that i missed.
• a basic understanding of HTML is recommended. please don't PM me for extensive coding help; i appreciate the interest, but i'm honestly not knowledgeable enough to provide support beyond what's included here. if something is broken, do let me know however.
• the code is also mostly mobile-friendly. i did my best to make it behave on smaller screens, though i can't guarantee it'll look perfect on every device.
