Design Terms of Use

oves Global Rules
  • If an adoptable was bought, it may be sold/traded/given away for free anyhow the current owner wants. (For more, less doesn't matter)
  • If the character was traded for, same rules apply, unless it was traded for art only. Then it may only be sold around the value of the artwork the character currently has. (Sketches and memes are valued at $0) Though following these rules is more of a courtesy and I will not be enforcing them.
  • If the character was given away for free, you may only gift it or trade it without my expressed permission. If you intend on selling a design that originally left my side as a freebie, you must ask before selling and also provide how much you're selling it for and why. This is the only rule I will be enforcing if I find out you broke it.

In terms of editting etiqutte, you are free to do whatever you please with the character, but no matter how far you stray from the original design, creditting me as the complete original designer is required. You may not claim the design as completely made by you, but you may credit yourself as a redesigner/designer.

Once a character leaves my hands, I no longer wish to take responsibility for whoever gets it, even if I may have said person blocked, I don't care. I don't have a blacklist. I'm only trying to police my designs if they were a freebie basically (because dick move if youre trying to profit off of a freebie, bro), or if I assign specific terms to a character and inform the seller before selling (and you will know if a character has special terms of use).

Commercial rights come automatically with purchase.

Refunds/Revoking (IMPORTANT, OK??):

- I will never revoke your rights to a design I made and sold to you that you fully paid for/finished the agreed upon payment for. Payment in this case means any monetary/art value that will not be refunded under any circumstances and the buyer does not intend to issue a dispute to get this money back.

- I will never revoke your rights to a design/refuse service due to your religion/sexuality/identity/political ideation and any sort of personal or public conflict or any reason other than you trying to scam me basically.

- I RESERVE THE RIGHT TO REVOKE A DESIGN MADE AND SOLD TO YOU BY ME THAT IS CURRENTLY IN YOUR POSSESION IF YOU HAVE ISSUED A FALSE CHARGEBACK AND REFUSE TO DROP IT. That is because that would effectively be theft on YOUR part and I refuse to entertain thieves. Even if Paypal then decides in my favour, you will not have anymore rights to said design (and I will be reselling it to someone else), because you broke my trust, terms of service and caused me alot of stress in dealing with a Paypal dispute. The design is in this case damages you pay to me on top of Paypal's damages (which are the fees).

- I do not refund designs that have left my ownership and have spend any amount of time in someone else's possesion. If you wish to sell the design once you're no longer interested in it, feel free to do so for any amount of money/art. You forcing a refund by chargebacking is in direct violation of my T.O.S. and will be dealt with as stated in the above point.

- I do not take responsibility for you not being able to sell for your initial buying price.

- Refund may only be inquired about if the design hasn't been received within 48 hours of payment and the seller (me) hasn't communicated a reason prior to the delay. In any case however, they buyer agrees to first inquire about a refund with ME(the seller) and NOT the payment service provider (Paypal).

To any closed species characters designed by me, that are not my own closed species, these rules DO NOT apply and the general TOS of the species does.
