Israhn's story contains themes and discussions of the following:
- Death of a parent. Specifically, his mom, although his extended family history in general sees people dying a lot.
- Dysfunctional parent-child relationships 'cause his dad went a little bit wonky.
- Manipulation & gaslighting from dear old dad.
- Cosmic horror & possession, as eldritch horrors beyond comprehension emerging from your basement tend to complicate things.
- Verbal/mental abuse; in particular, referring to someone only by a demeaning nickname or title.
- Additionally, since he's a healer type, there will be mentions of trauma received by seeing messed up stuff. In particular, there will be mentions of body horror, illness, miscarriage, and (obviously) death.
