Note that Star Eaters don't have eyelids, they have one floating eye in the middle of their skull. So expressions are limited.

I'm thinking that when Star Eaters are agitated they hiss and their core flickers, likewise when they are nervous their eye flicks around nervously and the core flickers are more sporadic.

Body moves around like a snake. (dragon like)
