Kimber

Kimber is a 12 year old girl who experienced/suffered child abuse and had to be taken by police and put in a foster care, where she would meet her newest friend Darline. She always has a smile on her face that's almost indestructible, but there is times where she must frown due to true emotions and feelings. She's a pretty joyful person, but can give the joy a break. She doesn't let her past affect her current.

Backstory

She was just born, but the person who gave birth to her didn't want her, so she was given away to a woman and man on the street; this would be where it all starts to crumble.

She was hit. Many times, most of the time. She was even attacked with a switch blade by the man who "took care" of her at the time. (She still has the scar on her shoulder today, it's just that her sleeve hides it.)

One day, when the man left the home one day, the woman was so mad at Kimber that she broke a window. Kimber had the great idea that she could escape if the woman left with the man, and she did. Kimber used the good amount of time she had to escape through the broken window, and she was finally set free.

A police car just passing by stopped as one of the officers in the car noticed how underfed she was, ribcage present through her torn up clothes. She told them everything, and to wait by or in the house since the woman and man were not home. The man and woman were then arrested for, of course, child abuse. Kimber was taken to a foster care right after. She was fed and was taken care of. Then, when Darline came into the foster care, she would automatically become friends with her, all just by sharing a piece of food and information about each other. Saron, Darline's mom, finally made the decision to take Kimber with her and Darline. Darline and Kimber are best friends and have always been, and always will be.

* Kimber's favorite flowers are daisies.

* Kimber sometimes hangs out with Darline's uncle, Michael J. Stewart. She thinks he's a funny guy.

* Kimber was a bit shy when it came to meeting new people, but she's gotten stronger due to practice.

* Kimber still thinks about the time she held Darline's hand. She liked it. She's not sure if Darline liked it too, but said by Kimber, "judging by how she gripped a bit harder on my hand during that tells me something, but I can't lay a finger on what exactly!"
