One of the afterlife Econa's soul sorters. Keeps up a frightening appearance to keep souls from being stolen while they collect them, and can be quite dangerous at times. Snooty, full of itself, and rivals even the god Amaros' scrutiny on who deserves to enter the afterlife. Verchiel will harshly judge any soul, but due to his loyalty to the afterlife, will always take them where they need to go even if he thinks they are not good enough for Econa. Complains about this often, but never to Amaros' face. Hotheaded with mortals and will sabotage mortals' ability to get into Econa if he feels scorned or crossed.
