Profile

She's one of the few in her family that prefers long-range weapons or any weapon besides her hands, for that matter. She typically uses a bow, but has no problem using a crossbow. While normally a go-with-the-flow type of person, she gets extremely cocky and coy during fights. Otherwise, she doesn't flaunt the fact that she's a criminal. Enjoys sneaking into town, mainly to participate in a photography club where she's made several friends. While she's not the best at taking pictures, she takes a million of them and constantly goes through memory cards.

Maranda met Casimir after getting into a bit of sudden trouble in a town and needing a fast escape. She was trying to run unseen through the trees, but it was only working so well. Suddenly, she spotted a horse's back below her. Seeing this as an easy ride, she jumped down...only to find that she was now sitting on a very spooked centaur. He reared up, causing the people around him to lose their grip on his ropes. Maranda was able to spur him on and, in the confusion, he did as she directed. A long distance later, they'd slowed and she was wondering why he hadn't bucked her off yet. Before he decided he wanted to, she slipped off for a break. Casimir didn't wander very far away, but he looked somewhat nervous. When asked why he wasn't going back, he mentioned that he was a slave and that she'd just caused him to do something he'd never done before, thus he was afraid he'd be punished. Feeling a bit bad for him, Maranda offered him some shelter. Unsure of what else to do, he let her up again and they travled back to Dieter's place. Casimir was sort of having a crisis at this point, despite being safe. So, a while later, she took him back to the village he came from, found his owner, and bought Casimir. Granted, there was no actual agreement. She simply threw money at the person and threatened them a bit before taking off with the centaur. From there, she told him that he was free to do what he wanted, but also that it would be okay if he stuck with her for a while. He chose the latter.

Years down the line, the two of them are pretty much partners in crime. Granted, Casimir doesn't do much of the "crime" stuff. He won't kill anyone and doesn't like many of the other activites Maranda engages in. He is, however, a good form of brute force, surprize factor, and getaway vehicle mixed into one.
