What is a Vennix?:
Vennix is a creature who's average size is that of a large house cat or fox. Its size, however can be as large as a medium sized dog, this and other features change depending on its habitat. Vennix are scavengers and will eat just about anything, depending on their ecological location. However, they are known to be able to digest rocks, gems and crystals. The saliva on their tongue, start to corrode the gem etc, allowing them to devour and gain certain powers. It is said that depending on the gem, it will bring its power to those who chance taming one.
Those who are very interested in this strange creature have begun to note that it has many different variations from having hoofs as back feet to its gem being horns or even one horn, this could be where the tale about a Vennixs gem, being like that of a unicorn came from. The tale is if one was to cut off a Vennixs gem, it would give that person tremendous power.
However, no one has dared to do this as it is also said cutting the gem off could set its habitat into destruction and mass chaos.
