Tiric

Tiric is an unconventional pirate captain in the sense that he does not use ruthlessness like many other pirates do to get their payload at all costs. He fancies himself a tactician and an opportunist, and with his wide web of contacts all over the galaxy, he is afforded the ability to be choosy about his marks and jobs. This luxury, of course, was earned over the course of a decade of excruciatingly difficult work not only becoming the captain in the first place, but recovering after the mutiny and doing whatever jobs he could to increase his crew's capital. 

Don't mistake his mercy for weakness, however. He already lived the life of the pirate that pulled the trigger at the least threatening of opponents just because it was expected of him. Now as the captain, he gets to choose otherwise, and would not dare to hesitate to end the life of an enemy that wanted to take advantage of his pity for civilians.

He is by no means an upstanding guy, he is still a criminal first and foremost. His preferred means of generating wealth usually involve running spice or pilfering rare and expensive equipment, materials, or ships. Though he doesn't like murdering civilians, he has no problem stealing from them, especially if they have ties to the Empire. 

Tiric, as a former slave, learned many languages growing up by being surrounded by other species of sentients from all over the galaxy. He had a knack for picking up languages and continued to pursue this interest, learning from whoever he could whenever the opportunity presented itself. He proceeds to study languages to this day, and is an avid reader and fascinated by history and culture. 

✦ Appearance

Tiric is a slender lavender-skinned nautolan accented by symmetrical/mirrored teal spotting all over his body. He has an impressive bundle of head-tendrils that are unusually long. Like many nautolans, he has fingernail-less pointed fingers and toes. 

He decorates his tendrils regardless of his dress, typically stringing thick gold bangles around each of the exterior tendrils and tying them in bundles. The bangles are for accenting but the bundling is more practical than anything; it is cumbersome to run around and have his long appendages whipping every which way.

Tiric is almost wearing some form of high-heel, even if they are simply chunky platforms. He likes the illusion of being taller, and will also bulk his appearance up by wearing large pauldrons over thick coats when working to make himself appear just a little more intimidating, considering that he is not physically threatening. He does also just tend to wear heels in casual wear as he likes them. His casual dress is dramatically different from his practical pirate garb, as he will wear flashy and flamboyant ensembles to attract attention.
