It was clear when he hatched that he wasn’t a full Hivewing. He was meant to be killed but the Queen came up with a much better idea when she learned of his camouflage ability. Raised as a prince along side the princess he’ll be trained as a royal guard and assign once old enough. Only a select few know of his true origins, the masses are told his ‘unique looks’ are from an extremely rare mutation but that other than his looks he’s perfectly healthy and normal. He has camouflage and extremely powerful venom. He believes the Queen is his mother and she had his egg with a random noble Hivewing.
