The Ellis Foundation

Charity for homeless adults and youth

Homeless, unemployed folks are welcome to seek shelter, as well as abuse victims and those who are out of commission (either handicapped or mentally ill) can find temporary solace. The place is equipped with workers to help those incapable of getting such on their own and specializes in finding fitting treatment facilities, maintaining court dates and dealing with legalities for those who've been backed into a corner, as well as more mundane things like providing bright opportunities for people without a home (narrowing down job interviews, providing a clean appearance for them and etcetera). The complex in Yow especially is a large building consisting of living quarters for many residents who are there free of charge. Some programs incorporate a 'giving back' policy where many residents can volunteer to do jobs around the place and even become full-time paid workers there eventually. The foundation does rely on volunteer work but has its own employees under the pay of Ms Mena, like live-in psychologists, a few nurses and a cook or two. It's a loving community centered around compassion and aid.

Location: Three separate shelters all part of the foundation are set in the following cities: Yow, Gacru and Mizuxe with the largest and best overseen being in Yow.

The Yow shelter is all-purpose. All residing there are guaranteed a warm meal, shelter and job opportunities consisting of four researchers on the job of perusing possibilities for jobless and homeless residents - a warm shower, grooming and proper clothes (or washing of such) are oftentimes provided for those wishing to apply somewhere. All-purpose means not only homeless or unemployed seek the shelter out. Victims of abuse and addiction are also welcome. In the shelter there are:

- A live in psychologist(s)

- Nurses

- A cook

- Caretakers

Same goes for the shelter in Mizuxe, which is considerably smaller, but still equipped with the same. There's a small but prominent aspect this shelter is known for: Housing Iho Palla survivors, those who were handicapped by the disease and those who lived through the aftermath of it. Workers:

- Same as Yow shelter.

The shelter in Gacru is catered to military and ex-military personell. The facility is equipped to take in excess patients if the hospitals in the town are ever backed up. Workers are equipped with medical knowledge and diplomas. The Gacru facility is more than pre-prepared to deal with emergencies and even lockdowns, what with some threats coming in from overseas. Workers:

- Same as Yow and Mizuxe

- Multiple doctors on call

- More nurses than usual

- Military psychologists
