Backstory: Aura grew up in Canterlot. She was the daughter of  very popular Canterlot unicorns. They raised her to be well manored and proper. She found that being popular was somewhat boring spent her spare time visiting the art galleries, and admiring the many paintings and drawings. She met a few of the older ponies that had painted the magnificent works. One in particular, named Brush Stroke taught the young unicorn the art of painting. Aura was excited to learn these new skills and found that she enjoyed it a lot. Her parents did not like that she chose such a messy profession, but thought that she had talent. She told her parents that she had to leave, that Aura could not live the same life that they did. Living in Canterlot amongst the proper ponies and turmoil was not the best way to hone her skills. When she heard that Twilight Sparkle, Princess Celestia's student had moved to a small town called PonyVille, she was intrigued. She decided to move there in hopes that the nature and change of scenery would help her build her skills.
