Shadefur (He/him) - ??? x ???
Mate to ???. Kits are Poppyspots and Lynxscar. Shadefur was a cold, hostile, aggressive, and sarcastic cat whose personality drove every Clanmate away from him. He acted like he wanted nothing to do with his Clanmates yet dearly wanted affection, just didn't know how to display it. When Dimstar lost a life to Blizzardpelt, and escaped to the neighboring Clan, Shadefur decided to leave clan life for a little and went beyond the clan's borders to live with a group of loners. The loners taught him about family and why it was important. While he stayed there, Shadefur was visited by the Dark Forest for his potential as their agent. He was disenchanted with clan life and they knew they could use him. Shadefur was visited by Voleface of the Dark Forest - Voleface promised Shadefur his heart's desire in exchange for his soul. Shadefur told Voleface he wanted a mate who would love him no matter what. Voleface agreed, and the deal was set. Later, Shadefur went back to Ghostclan and found a mate in the aftermath of Dimstar and Blizzardstar's little spat.
When Shadefur died, his soul would go to the Place of No Stars, but while he lived, Shadefur got his happily ever after. He lived a long and happy life, and had children. But when he passed, only hungry darkness welcomed him.
Unbeknownst to Shadefur, his pact with the Dark Forest affected his kits. They would never be able to find true love until the curse was broken.

Shadefur is a proud and powerful thundercloud-gray tom. His eyes are a hard, unwavering amber. He is known for his stealth, and is said to glide across the ground as silent as smoke. Forgiveness does not come easily to him.
