The lonely, mute author of melecamble's cities. Penn never speaks to anyone, mostly gesturing and pushing past. His works are lovely, fantastical stories of love, adventure, friendship...But Penn lacks any friends of its own really. It seems unbothered and has a 'too important' attitude to really bother much with others, content to its works and sight seeing for more inspiration.
No one has ever seen its screen project a face. Just black and white static. Its unknown if something happened to Penn, or if it's always looked like that.
Penn makes lots of notes and likes to pin them to the front neckpiece of its shell, often giving clues to what its currently thinking about or working on. Its a surprisingly decent artist too for someone who never adds illustrations to its books.
