Somewhat sickly researcher. She'd like to know all about the world she lives in, but illnesses and rust prevent a lot of this. Orbit, for some reason, enjoys living seaside, not even due to it being much cheaper than other areas. The water is fascinating, even if it doesn't help her joints or interior.
Orbit cannot always afford the best repairs, so she does a lot of research from home. The organics off from the cities, to the inner workings of other bots. Even about where rolypons came from, when she can.
