Background - A fallen angel, Tao is a husk of his former self and a ruthless warrior. After losing his life to a domestic abuse incident when he was 14, Tao woke up in the world of Vastria as an angel, and had a fairly rough transition to his new life. Living with his mentor Gabriel, Tao wanted nothing more than to go back home, a wish Gabriel told him time and time again could not be achieved due to how becoming an angel worked. While an excellent student under Gabriel's tutelage, Tao's denial and refusal to accept his new life continued to well up inside him for 2 years until he reached a breaking point while out on a training mission with Gabriel. In a fit of rage, he attacked his mentor, and the fight ended with Tao's wings being severely burned away in an accident and his halo being lost. Tao was taken in and healed by two bounty hunters, with whom he slowly recovered and used his ingenuity and brains to fashion himself artificial wings and a new flight mask to don his new bounty hunter persona: "The Raven King." Five years later, and now the leader of his own mercenary group "The Steel Ravens," Tao is a bitter and angry soul, stuck in a world he can't come to call his "home." Upon learning that Zoe is now mentoring under Gabriel, he can't help but feel an immense amount of rage well up in him, and has challenged her to many battles.
