[Hitogata Nanko]

Name: Hitogata 人形 Nanko 何個
  • 人形 (person-shaped, same kanji as ningyo, puppet)
  • 何個 (how many pieces?)
Hero Name: Jigsaw

[ Quirk: “Puzzle“ ]

  • Description: can disassemble their body into parts and move them at will
  • Hybrid Transformation-Type
  • limited by distance the parts can move from one another; parts don't regenerate (but are very sturdy)
    • other limits: control over parts (i.e. the bigger and further from head, the better to control), amount of parts, moving without seeing/keeping track of them etc.
  • Quirk overuse: disorientation, unable to read+write (dyslexia etc), extreme left-right-disorientation

[ Character Notes ]

  • nonbinary (they/them, preference of he/him over she/her)
  • wild corcscrew curls
  • human disaster
    • regularly misplaces their limbs and can't leave the area before locating them
      • their dog has buried a hand or foot of them at least once/used them as a chew toy
      • was unable to leave the house for several weeks one time and were fine with it, until their grandmother came and forced them to locate the pieces
    • has difficutlies puzzling themselves back together RIGHT sometimes. (wrong order of fingers and switched hands are not entirely uncommon.)
  • Paints the nails on hands/feet in different colours left and right to tell them apart easier
  • humor: loves taking anatomical expressions literally
    • (such as: giving someone a hand, running around headless, being all ears etc)
    • "hey, give me a hand" -- "sure." ----- "UGH EW WHY HITOGATA"
    • 🎵“Everyy now and then i fall apaaaaaart”🎶 (no. seriously. they do.)
    • “Why are you in pieces??” -- “Because the way this day is going, this might as well happen :v”
  • 30% little shit, 20% coward, 30% too smart for their own good, 25% spite, 10% procastination
  • super big and pretty doll eyes, curtesy of their doll genetics from daddy (who has a doll quirk – mother has a sort of emitter-type telekinesis that lets her telekinetically “organise“ things according to an orginisational system)
    • same with the corcscrew curls
  • Is only at U.A. and in the Hero-Course cuz their hero-otaku grandma strongarmed them into it
    • Granny drove them to the entrance exam without telling them where they'd be going
    • So they thought they were being very clever when they only wandered around in the exam and didn't kill robots, instead helping other students when they came across them; they ended up with a lot of rescue points and got in anyway
  • (they do take pride in their academics and couldn't make themselves do worse than they could on the written exam. sucks to be them.)
  • Infuriates their more ambitious classmates to no end, because they don't seem to have any ambition and drive but pass classes without major problems anyway (yeah, that kind of annoying person)

“What drives you to become a hero?”

“... fear, probably.”

“Your reason is– you‘re ... afraid of villains?”

“No, but my gran is gonna kill me if I don‘t become a hero.”

“That, that can’t be your reason!”

“... Have you met my grandma?!”
