Character Blurb

Nisse, a tricksy and elusive kebanzu, inherits his courage and gall from the folk-tales of equally tricksy house-spirits. He's a natural charmer who can come off as a little brash and temperamental at first glance, but only there to protect his treasures - whether that be fabled trinkets, or other kebanzu!

With his roots set in the Northern Forest, Nisse can be rarely seen outside of the hub-area, and most commonly spends his summers snoozing in his little cabin off of the beaten path.

Lifestyle

Nisse is a keb who finds comfort in seclusion. More recently, however, they've been spotted travelling past the limits of their hub-area, and taking an interest in other kebs - and unfortunately, finding tricking them increasingly amusing...

Ideals

Although selfish, Nisse greatly values comfort, and material goods - followed closely by trust and loyalty. In this case Nisse will hold onto their friends as if they were akin to his own collection of dear trinkets.

Bonds

The bonds of Nisse are split - between the kebanzu he's grown to hold dear, and his own possessions and territory. If he's witness to trespassers, or anyone tormenting his friends, they can be sure they'll get the scare of their lifetime.

Nisse holds the old magic in great regard, though scarcely ventures southward to the mythic forest... He aims to use small charms and incantations to his advantage in his crafts, but still has a long way to go until his enchantments hold.

Background

Early Life

There isn't much that Nisse is willing to disclose about his early life... Either, because he deems it unimportant, or just too uninteresting to disclose.

He seems to have been born the only cub, and lived somewhere along the Northern Forest hub for all of his life, with nary a soul in walking-distance. This doesn't seem to bother the keb, however, and he seems content in his secluded little cabin-life.

Current Events

Nowadays, Nisse has gained the bravado to venture further out from his homestead, and has found it fascinating to socialize with other kebs, and even humans alike! Having also found his mischiveous streak, Nisse can be most often be found wandering around during autumn, and winter times - spreading both spooks and the holiday spirit.

He hasn't been seen around for a few years, now - hibernating, or crafting along during the summer months, and spending the rest of the year in what he'd claim to be 'hibernation'. Mostly he just finds it comfortable to nap in his little corner of the woods. Unbothered, and cozy.

Camping Supplies

Usually shoved into a corner in his cabin, Nisse takes relative pride in his stash of camping supplies. Most commonly used during warmer months.

Knitting Supplies

Along with whittling, Nisse has tried taking up knitting, and has started to expand his ever-growing collection of sweaters by their own hand, too.

Candles & Incense

Nisse finds many smells both curious and comforting. On his trips to the hub area, he tends to inquire about the latest shipment of aromatics with a smile.

Supply of Wood

After living in his little cottage-home for quite some time, Nisse prides himself in having a steady supply of wood - either for crafts, or the hearth.

Wardrobe

WARDROBE DESCRIPTION

Nisse, thanks to the surrounding climate, thrives off of old sweaters and heavy-fabric trousers and skirts.

He prefers decorating his outfits with his whitteled things, and will most commonly wear at least a couple of small wooden figures upon their belt, beads and bells hanging from strings and tassles, and hand-made, jewelry upon his self. Modest, but cluttered is how he feels himself.

Accessories

Nisse isn't too fussed with keeping his color-combinations coherent, but will usually dress in seasonal tones, and patterns. Aside from woolen sweaters, Nisse can be seen wearing more loose, light clothing during the summertimes, or while travelling further south - something pawned from the closest marketplace when he found himself regretting bringing his sweaters to sweltering heats.
