About

Personality: Gelu is shy and is afraid of being in close relationships due to his past. He is prideful, which often manifests as threatening challenges regardless of whether or not they are necessary and has led to most of his troubles. He is also a "realistic optimist" which means that while he always hopes for the best outcome in every situation, understands logically (if not always emotionally) that it's not always the case.

History: Gelu and his five clutchmates were born to a flight of frost dragons that lived in the mountains. He lived a normal childhood although had an unhealthy obsession with "proving" himself to his flight by challenging dragons from neighboring flights. This came to a head when he challenged a slightly older male as an adolescent, and killed him in a fight. Though Gelu swore it was an accident and claimed he was traumatized, his family was forced to exile him in order to appease the other flight. He fled with one of his sisters who died a few years later due to an illness and is now looking for a place far from home where he can start over.
