Taken from her home as an egg to protect her from the War of NightWing succession, Princess Luckbearer has spent the better half of her life so far training to return to the Night Kingdom. She is skilled with a sword, even despite her age, and has the mind of a general. However, the air of arrogance around her and her often headstrong, aggressive nature often puts her into danger more than it helps her.
Luckbearer has been sickly her entire life, but she refuses to let that push her down. She knows she's destined for more than just being on the run for the rest of her life, and she knows the real fight will start once she returns to the Night Kingdom and, as she calls her, the "Usurper Queen."

Pleiades Her closest confidant and loudest critic, Pleiades is the dragon that keeps Luckbearer from making grave mistakes. While they often have arguments, Luckbearer knows she'd likely be dead without her advisor and best friend by her side.
Bora An apprentice to Luckbearer and the first 'strange' dragon Luckbearer met, Bora and Lucky have met on and off throughout the years, until Luckbearer appointed Bora as a spy, guard, and advisor to her. The two have a slightly strained relationship due to Bora's more violent nature, but Luckbearer knows she can help show Bora more ways to deal with her enemies than just her claws.
