The Beginning
- April 1961: First human in space.
- July 1969: First human on the moon.
- April 1971: First space station launched.
- August 1990: Hubble Space Telescope launched.
- November 1998: The International Space Station is launched.
2000's
Discovery Era
- August 2012: Launched in 1977, NASA's Voyager-1 reaches interstellar space.
- April 2019: First direct photograph of a black hole is achieved.
- Parker Space Probe successfully flies through the atmosphere of Sol.
- Launch of James Webb Space Telescope - stronger and more powerful than the older Hubble Telescope.
- [END OF CURRENT HISTORY].
- September 2027: The Interstellar Space Convention (ISC) forms after Voyagers 1 and 2 send back data various facilities are unable to decipher. The best anyone can guess is that the probes somehow pinged off each other - though that doesn't explain how the data is unreadable.
- May 2030: About two years after the creation of the ISC, they are once again called to asses yet another data anamoly. This time, however, someone makes note of the fact that Voyagers "Golden Record" was accessed. However, there is no indicator of response, understanding, ect. Due to previous false alarms, this anamoly is yet again left as a mystery.
- October 2045: Voyager 1 suddenly goes offline. There are no data errors, no warnings of potential collision. It simply seemed to have ceased operating. Given the age of Voyager, it is not wholly surprising.
- January 2046: Voyager 2 also experiences what seems to be sudden failure. Questions about potential connections arise, but answers are still lacking.
- June 2050: Both Voyagers are suddenly depicted as being online. Their location is noted as being on the very edge of the Solar System, despite their previous distance away. Curiously enough, they seem to be returning, and at a much swifter pace than feasably possible. They're expected to be within range in the next 5 years, as opposed to the 15 it took to leave the solar system. The ISC struggles to come to agreement about the implications of this.
- February 2055: Both Voyagers finally arrive. There is no message, no apparent communication. However, the probes have been altered - upgraded, even. They no longer appear to be simple exploratory probes, but advanced shuttle-like transports. At the center of these "shuttles" is the original device.
- November 2070: The tech and advancements taken from the returned Voyagers has spurred Humanity yet again. The realization that something is out there and seemingly advanced enough to not only improve upon human tech but to want to return it, pushed forward another age of advancement.
- July 2081: Humanity officially establishes their first long-lasting Lunar Colony. By 2087, there are two major colonies and several orbiting stations between the Earth and the Moon.
- June 2091: Ten years after the first Lunar Colonies were established, Humans finally establish equally lasting stations on the surface of Mars. Similarly, several orbiting stations are established.

2100's
Intersellar Age
- AAugust 2104: Exploration seems to stifle as humanity realizes that the sheer distance of the Solar System poses a problem. The ISC once again meets to discuss the potential for expansion.
- November 2104: The ISC (Interstellar Space Convention) is finalized as a worldwide alliance and renamed as "Earth's Alliance", or the EA. This will later turn into the World's Alliance.
- October 2112: The first fully manned craft intended to go beyond Jupiter is assembled. With the advancements originating with the Voyager Return, the trip will take about 5-7 years - nearly half of what it would've taken before. The crew of the of the EA's EASS-Journey set off. (Earth's Alliance Space Shuttle).
- March 2119: The EASS-Journey reaches the end of the solar system as expected.
- December 2122: Just three years out of the Solar System, and the EASS-J's crew has come across something unexpected. It appears to be a very large satellite station - not human. The world goes on alert, preparing for the potential of first contact.
- November 2123: By the time the satellite station has been known for about a year, Earth finally gets their first potential at contact. What seems to be some sort of maintenance drone approaches, and the design and specs of both official are deemed a match for the improvements done to the Voyagers. Official contact and communication still seems to be lacking, but the maintenance drone does repair some damages that the EASS-J had sustained.
- February 2124: While still unmet, the EA deem this unknown species friendly enough. Again, they leave messages, pictures, ect near this station, hoping to encourage contact.
- March 2127: The EA begin construction of their first station out of the Solar System. Curiously enough, drones or probes soon arrive, which accelerates the process. This station is dubbed "Olive Branch".
- NJuly 2130: A small team of four accepts the request to venture further. When one of the frequent maintenance drones seems to leave, the EASS-Middleman follows.
- September 2138: First contact is again, informally made. When the EASS-Middleman struggles in the wake of such a long trip, they are fortunately met and assisted by what the Commanding Officer calls, "tugboats". Small pods attach themselves to the EASS-M's body. Inside are what seem to be attempted replicas of aspects from the Olive Branch. Thankfully, they are sufficient enough to allow the Middleman to continue.
- January 2140: Planet contact is finally formally made. Commanding Officer Joan Ohrul can't help but be surprised at the sight of a planet that by all scanned data, is nearly 95% water. One of the crew makes a joke about how this would've been Earth if global warning wasn't fixed. Another smacks them upside the head, making this historic moment convincingly human.
- November 2140: First contact is successfully made when the Middleman is tugged into the planet's orbit and atmosphere. Thankfully, the shielding had been built to match that of the frequent drones, and they faced no other harm. Rattled and surprised, but fairly unharmed, Commanding Officer Ohrul is alarmed when a truly massive being rises from the water. Communication proves to be a temporary barrier, but humanity has finally met the race who had sent back their Voyagers nearly a century ago.
- July 2150: Communication is slow but willing - the species has managed to be known as 'Lurians", and their planet known as. "Weyluri". Despite being quite different from humans in nearly every way, the Lurians are still decades ahead of humanity. With tech that sci-fi nerds of the early 2000's would've called a plot device, Lurians make distance-travel easier for humans with warp-like technology. A trip that took the crew of the Middleman nearly 20 years can now be made in under five. Two, if the technology is pushed to the brink.
- December 2155: Further exploration takes a backseat as Humans and Lurians further explore their relation. The intial communication complications are quickly identified and understood - the Lurians are a telepathic race. While they could see and interact with the original Voyagers, they lacked any spoken language. They hadn't sent any written communication, fearing that it would be taken as hostile.
