Ulrich Crucible

The second Tool of the Glassmaker to be created. He lacks the power that Sindri was imbued with. At first, he did his best to try and fulfill Eitri's wishes - this was shortly after the King was first sealed, mind, and Ulrich spent much time among the people of the Kingdom as he searched for ways to undo their work when it was at its strongest. He came to believe that their pain outweighed his creator's by far, that morally, he absolutely shouldn't release the seal - and for the second time, the Glassmaker was left betrayed by his own creations. Lots of time passed between then, the seal grew weaker, and one day, Ulrich found a Tool that knew nothing of her purpose.

He dies in the fire that destroys the Old Capitol.
