Profile

Zephyr doesn't remember much about his previous life, in fact, he was at once point a normal ferret with normal creamy and brown colors. It all changed when he wandered onto the wrong part of town on Halloween night. He had escaped from his cage, he figured it all out the day before. He hated being locked up, still does, and clawed his way out of the screen covering a slightly open window. Zephyros had longed for the crisp air of the outside world, he could smell the dew on the grass and the scent of falling leaves. The cold night air wove through his fur and made him shiver slightly, that's what he wanted to believe made him shiver but the feeling of being watched grew the more he scampered about, closer to the forest. Then he was suddenly jerked into the air, he hissed and clawed at his attacker but to no avail. He could hear what sounded like talking only it was unintelligible, a language he didn't recognize as human or animal. He was thrown into a container of some sort and blacked out.

When Zephyr awoke everything felt different to him, in fact, his fur had changed quite a bit. He was red and white and could hear the same voices he remembered from before, and this time he could understand what they were saying. The only problem Zephyr noticed about his new form, was a headless body. When looking at his reflection from his plastic container he noticed his head was gone but he could still see and hear. Or something similar to seeing and hearing. Then a bunch of loud crashes and panicked voices flooded his new senses. Something was going on. A weird wolf skidded into the room with similar striped markings to his. She glanced at him in a bit of shock as a couple of other humans entered the room.

They argued for a bit with the wolf, taking glances at Zephyr. Then one of them sighed as the wolf stubbornly approached and threw the container on the ground. Zephyr panicked, managing to somehow make weird gurgling and clicking noises of fear. The wolf's friends quickly came to help Zephyr out of the cage and took him with them in their escape. He learned they had been there to rescue their wolf friend, who happened to be a shapeshifter just trapped in her wolf form. Zephyr was quick to forgive the one the humans called Niq and scampered up onto her back cuddling into her fur and making small purring like noises similar to his fear clicking. Niq named him Zyphyros to boost the confidence of the ferret by naming him after a Greek god (and it's a cool name.)

He usually never leaves Niq's side for any reason and has come to discover he had been combined with some sort of demon or spirit and the union left him in a mysterious headless state.
