- surprisingly proficient in kido but her sword skills are pretty lacking

- calls her brother "pineapple head" when she's mad at him
- despite showing promise in kido and having a surprising physical prowess for her size, she has trouble living up to her potential due to Renji babying her (not to be mean, he just doesn't want her to get hurt, he means well)
- actually pretty good in a fist fight courtesy of growing up in the slums
- zanpakuto = Shirogane-Ko (白金-子 meaning 'platinum child') - shikai takes the form of bladed brass knuckles
- activation command is 'haeru' (映える meaning 'shine')
- kind of obsessed with the world of the living -- she thinks the food and fashion there are amazing
- always feels like she's swimming in her shihakusho despite it being fitted to her, so she eventually opts for a bodysuit under her hakama with a cropped jacket instead
- very well-meaning and compassionate -- despite being kind of scrappy (mostly with Renji), she genuinely just likes to help people and see them happy
- really good at gathering intel -- one of her hobbies is finding out secrets about people in Seireitei and selling them to the Women's Association for their magazine
