He was in the military. His friend was a windego and tricked him to become one saying it will cure hunger but his friend just didnt want to be alone. They both promised that if the other gave in to the beast inside (his left side in ref) then the other would have to kill them. friend gave into the beast. marcus has to kill him but kept the promise to not give in. Gave his tags to the military to return to his family saying he was dead and disappeared into the woods. Only sighting of him is in another world where he stops by the cafe elora works at. He can be a shy boi .
