About
Yue is a very guarded woman. Despite being one that dresses up in a variety of costumes and attires she makes herself, that’s not how she hides. How she appears is the only way that she feels able to express herself.
While she believes in doing the right thing, it can also be hard to trust that others will do it. This is because she’s convinced most people refuse to believe situations are easy to solve— it’s simple, she would say. Because of this, she doesn’t get along with many of those she’s been partnered with.
Unable to handle those situations, she’s been known to withdraw or throw a tantrum. The anger of their inability to do something frustrates her to no need. Why can’t they just fix the problem? In these moments, Gray is the one she leans on the most for he doesn’t “talk her down”, merely lets her get it out of her system so that they may talk it out until she feels better afterward.
These pieces of her are why she’s shy around others. Versus loud and bold with those she considers her friends.

“I love you, that’s all!”
Yue is a simple girl. She doesn’t like complications and needless things. It doesn’t have to be difficult or muddied. It can be simple and black and white as need be. It’s a yes, no, or maybe. No excuses are needed, simply state what you must with her. She can’t handle situations that are complicated. She doesn’t understand why others don’t get it and it frustrates her deeply.
Regardless, she comes off as a very bright ball of fun that’s almost always all smiles. The only exception is if she’s around strangers. At that time she sinks inward and becomes very quiet and shy.

Throwing Needles
As a base form, she can summon needles of carrying lengths and sizes. These needles are typically thrown towards her target. Her high level in accuracy offsets the lack of strength behind these attacks.
Pinpoint
A single skill that she’s honed. One long thin needle or a small pin prick of a needle. She can either throw it a short distance or come up behind her target to push it into their weak point. Whether it cleanses the target or restrains the target is up to her discretion.
Summary
Invisible
As one of eight children, Yue is used to not being seen. It leads to her exploring how to present herself as she grows older. Anything from what she wears, how she acts, to the makeup she begins to use. The persona she creates for herself is the only thing that can save her as she gets into her thirties.
Even so, she’s losing the true self she buries down. The small child that wants to be seen. Her mornings are empty while her nights are filled with the work she does at a night club. One that provides illicit drugs and services. One that makes her vulnerable to those that prey upon her.
Through all of her life she knows a single woman with the features of a deer and small antlers poking out of her hair. A life that’s quickly snuffed out by an overdose to drugs she didn’t consent to, to begin with. Dead in the back room of the club, she’d die in that very woman’s arms. The one that lured her there with the promise of understanding and love.
Translucent
Living again was never a part of her plan. Coming into the realm of Noctis as a Star, she’s unsure and still distraught. She’s not a fighter and after countless days of trying, she’s about to give in when she meets Ilista. The woman that eagerly berates the one that trains Yue before taking the latter under her wing.
The bond the two women begin to grow between them is unmistakable. Even still, this bond is fragile as Ilista can’t be with her at all times. She’s forced to work with others that aren’t as understanding of the shy and demure stance she takes around strangers.
Clear
Due to Ilista’s prowess, Yue is separated from her. In time she’s paired with a group before the split. A Dark Star named Gray. He’s from a completely different type of world and yet is happy to stand in her defense— strong and unrelenting to those that push back. Even if it means they only do missions together with an occasional third.
Over the years that they’re together, the friendship begins to add on benefits. Ones that develop into full fledged feelings that lead him to telling her about his people— his culture— and how he wishes to take her as his life partner. For he loves her and she loves him, nothing more or less.
The atmosphere of what’s happening leads her to agreeing. Under the watchful eye of a sunrise, they exchange a promise to each other. One that will bind them together for the rest of their afterlife.
Relationships
Ilista
Friend
They immediately grew attached to one another. Ilista is the strong sun she needs that is ready to protect her. Whereas she’s the gentle tide that accepts and allows Ilista’s inner self to flourish. Together, they do as much as they can and enjoy each other’s company. She cares deeply for Ilista and would do anything for her, as simple as that.
Gray
Husband
She has been around Gray for as long as Ilista. He’s been her most ardent supporter. He doesn’t pander to her tantrums when she gets frustrated— he treats her with respect, gives her space, and is happy to hold her when she deflates. Afterwards, she’s grateful that he speaks with her as an equal and they can talk it out. Only with him does she ever show what a mess she can be. His love is the one of the few things that makes her whole.
