Oscar

Oscar is often referred to as a "sea monster" by the people of Coral Bay, but only because they aren't sure what else to call him. Residents claim that they simply saw him appeared in the bay one day, and after realizing he wasn't dangerous, he just became an honorary resident of the small town. Oscar is a gentle creature who is shy around strangers, but once he gets to know someone, he's very affectionate and even mischievous to a playful extent. He's also very food motivated, and fishermen coming into the bay often spoil him by feeding him some of their catches when they have a good outing. It's become a tradition that giving Oscar food will grate the feeder a true wish, be it a good fishing trip or an end to hard times. It hasn't been proven if this is true or not, but many towns people claim it to be true in personal experience. Oscar isn't aware of this tradition, he simply is thankful for the food. Oscar can't really communicate with the towns people, as though it seems he can understand human language, he can't replicate it himself and can only squeal and make clicking noises in response. While he has legs. he can only be out of water for at most 5 minutes, and simply prefers to float and swim around the shore to watch and interreact with the humans who approach him.
