A former ballet dancer who ended up being stuck in a limbo after suffering an unfortunate death after burnout. Regardless of her scary looks, Meridian is really gentle being for the most of the times, offering to help others even if her intentions might come accross as a bit unclear due to her being mute. She is really embarrassed of the fact that she has become a monstrous being after her death. It is said that she had something to do before her death which is why she ended up in limbo instead of "final" afterlife, but no-one, not even herself, knows what it was. Until she finds out what that task was, she will continue to turn further into a monstrous being until she loses all her consiousness, fully becoming a furious beast. This is something this former dancer wants to avoid and is determined to find out her life meaning and getting rid off the Limbo's curse.

APPEARANCE

Meridian has really skinny physical features and she stands in height of 160cm (or 6.2'') not including her canine like ears. Her the most noticable feature is her face that resembles a skull of a canine animal - which is the biggest reason for her muteness as well. She has long dark hair that she holds occasionally on a bun on the top oh her head. Meridian has long feral-ish legs which adjust for her ballerina shoes to resemble more human like feet whenever she wears them. She usually wears light weighted dresses with flowy skirt part which usually doens't go past her knees. She also has skinny rat-like tail which is about the same dark colour as her hair.

Personality

Meridian is shy and cautious person and is doing her best to be as kind to others as possible. She's really insecure when it comes to her looks. She doesen't remember how she used to look when she was alive but she knows that having a face without skin wasn't one of the features she used to have - which is why she most of the times tries to hide her face with her long hair. z
Meridian gets easily startled, and this why doesn't like sudden loud noises and avoids big crowded areas. She much more prefers to have a small calm community than being in big cities which brings her a lot of anxiety and fear. She doesn't like intense interactions with others nor being in front of people - though performing is a completely another thing for her since it's a thing she really enjoys doing. Even if the pressures she had when being alive caused her death, she still has her passion for self expression via movement to a music and wants to share it with others - especially with her friends.
Even though Meridian's personality is most often calm and timid, her "Limbo curse" is a thing that is slowly consuming her and making her to become less and less humane - which also affects her personality. She has occasional aggression spikes when the curse is growing inside her or when she becomes extremely stressed or upset. During these spikes she loses her mind, randomly and violently attacking anyone close to her. This is something Meridian tries to avoid at all costs since hurting anyone is one of the biggest fears she has.

Powers

Meridian's dance is hypnotic regardless of the person who happens to come accross her. She doesn't really use this power for other than occasionally fleeing if she has gotten into a trouble.

History

In her former life, Meridian was a high class ballet dancer with extremely high expectations. Competition was though and everyone around her expected her to be the best - herself included. She didn't feel like she'd be good enough no matter how much she trained and performed well during shows and in competitions and it started to affect her life really negatively. Eventually all the stress the expectations caused her made her have a massive breakdown and making her take away her own life.
However, after dying she didn't end up in afterlife but woke up in Limbo - a place that's something in between of living and death. Meridian had second to no memories of her past life and the only clues of her past was the ballet shoes a certain person gave her right after she woke up. She quickly learned about the Limbo's curse after seeing unfortunate souls becoming full on mindless demons bringing destruction to already hellish world that Limbo was, which awoke her determination of wanting to find out what did she have yet to learn in her life in order to continue on with the circle of life.
