Imperial Topaz is a Homeworld gem working under White Diamond's command. She works as a messenger, managing travel and communications to the farthest reaches of the galaxy. She primarily relays the authorities' commands and keeps lower-ranked gems in check. Due to her specialization, her unique quality is her voice. It's smooth and could most certainly be described as beautiful, even. It can have a soothing effect on the vulnerable - for example, Rubies and underdeveloped gems like the augmented Peridots. This helps to make her speech far more persuasive despite her icy demeanor.
