Maya Star and Maya get along well enough, but they don't consider each other as friends. They are acquaintances at best and Maya, like some of the other wolves, will come to Star for advice.
Autumn Star and Autumn are aquaintances. Star is very observant of everything Autumn does, making some believe that she knows something others do not. The two don't speak to each other much.
Star was born outside of the sanctuary in a forest located in Canada. Her biological parents had abandoned her due to the fact that she was the runt, thinking she wouldn't survive. Left for dead, the pup was soon found by a wild dog named, Jessica, who took Star in and cared for the pup as her own. Jessica was a wonderful mother towards Star and would shelter her from anything that she deemed dangerous. Because of this, Star did not get to socialize with anyone other than her mother and grew up to be really socially awkward.
By the time she was 8 months, Star came across a lone wolf that was passing by through Jessica's territory. This wolf happened to be a traveling healer and taught Star all the basics. After her first lessons, Star became fascinated by the subject. She learned all that she could on her own, but there was only so much she could do by herself. As soon as she turned one, Star left home and set out into the world with the mission to perfect her craft.
Three years later, Star is now voluntarily staying at the Blue Moon Sanctuary. What drew her to the sanctuary is unknown and some of the wolves feel a bit uneasy around Star. Star's behavior is considered quite strange, especially with her small rants about "The Stars". There are rumors that these so called "Stars" are a part of her strange "made-up religion" and nobody knows when she developed it.
