Seafoam

"Seafoam" was once a human girl born to two fisher parents living in Anbo. When she was young, she nearly drowned during a terrible storm. A kind marid who called the nearby waters her home saved Seafoam's life, transforming her into a water genasi.

She is a Way of the Astral Self Monk now, having been given some innate power to summon water by her Marid friend. After her near-death experience, she opened up in a big way, training and becoming a traveling adventurer. For a few years she has been traveling the Sword Coast, waiting for the next opportunity to go back home (once those pesky storms die down).
